Step-by-Step Plan for Creating an Icon Pack in One Style
Share
First, define the theme and number of elements. For example, whether it is basic interface symbols or a specialized collection (weather, maps, industry). Write down the list of icons you plan to create.
Next, create a reference sheet: draw 3–5 base shapes (circle, square, arrow) with fixed line weight and corner radii. This will become the foundation for all other elements.
Then draw icons one by one, following the grid. After every 10–15 elements, check them together on one artboard — whether the style unity is preserved. At the final stage, export everything as 512×512 PNG with transparent background and organize into thematic folders.
This approach helps create a pack where all icons look like part of one system and are easy to use in projects.
