Creator Story – "Why our team created this Packs"

The Iconastra team started as a small group of designers who faced the same challenge every day: finding icon packs that perfectly match in style, feature transparent backgrounds, consistent stroke weights, and enough variety in themes. Often, we had to gather elements from different sources, manually adjust them, align proportions, and change line thicknesses so everything looked harmonious in one project. This took a lot of time, disrupted workflow, and distracted from the main task — creating interfaces and visual content.

It was exactly because of these daily difficulties that the idea to create our own icon packs appeared. At first, we made them for ourselves: drawing by hand, testing in real layouts, refining details so the elements worked well on small phone screens, tablets, and in web design. Over time, we realized that many designers and developers face the same situation. That’s when we decided to organize comprehensive collections, where each pack has a clear theme, unified style, and structured folders for convenient work. We wanted designers to quickly find exactly the elements needed for their project, without long searches and manual editing.

Our mission is to create practical PNG icon packs that help ease daily work with interface design, illustrations, infographics, and other visual materials. We focus on line quality, thoughtful geometry, readability at different scales, and transparent backgrounds so icons easily integrate into any project. Every pack is developed with real usage scenarios in mind: from minimalist interfaces to thematic collections on astrology, weather, maps, industry, and flags. We aim for our materials to be useful at all stages — from quick prototyping to final polishing.

We don’t just draw icons — we build a system where every element complements the others. This allows designers to spend more time on creativity instead of technical adjustments. Iconastra is a place where detailed, structured packs are gathered, created by people who work with design daily and understand what is truly needed in the process.

Credentials & Experience

The Iconastra team has been working in graphic and interface design for over 8 years. During this time, we have created and contributed to hundreds of icon packs for various project types: mobile applications, web interfaces, infographics, educational materials, travel services, industrial presentations, and much more. Our icons have been used in projects reaching thousands of users worldwide — from small startups to large companies in technology, logistics, education, and travel sectors.

We have experience working with large collections (from 30 to over 500 elements in one pack), where the key is maintaining a unified visual style, proportions, and stroke weights. Each team member specializes in a specific direction: some focus on interface elements, others on natural forms, technical and industrial icons, maps and navigation, atmospheric and seasonal symbols. This allows us to create thematic packs that look cohesive and professional.

We constantly test icons in real conditions: on different backgrounds, in light and dark modes, at small and large sizes. This helps us maintain high quality and usefulness of the materials. Over the years, we have built a large knowledge base about how icons are perceived by users, how they perform in different contexts, and how to optimize them for quick integration. We put this experience into every new pack and into our learning materials created in December 2025, to help other designers build their own consistent collections.
