Serhii Tsapko -
Interface Illustrator
He specializes in creating clean vector interfaces for mobile applications and icon packs. From childhood, he was interested in drawing and shapes, which led him to study graphic design. After completing his education, he began working on projects focused on interface details, thin lines, and proportions that make elements convenient for use across different screen sizes.
Over the years, Serhii has contributed to icon packs across various fields: from everyday interface elements to thematic collections. He has developed style systems that ensure consistency among hundreds of elements while maintaining lightness and readability. Among his achievements are participation in projects where icons were used in mobile interfaces for thousands of users, as well as creating structured libraries that make designers' work easier. He continuously studies new approaches to vector graphics, experiments with stroke weights and geometry to make every element harmonious on any background.
Serhii has experience working with large collections where maintaining a unified visual rhythm is essential. He analyzes how icons are perceived in real scenarios: on small phone screens, tablets, or web interfaces. This allows him to create scalable elements that retain clarity. On the Iconastra team, he is responsible for the visual consistency of icons across different scales, checking proportions and lines at every stage. His approach is practice-based: he tests icons in various contexts to ensure their usefulness.
The course was created in December 2025. Serhii decided to share his knowledge because he saw how many designers struggle with creating consistent icon sets. He noticed that there is often a lack of understanding of how to build a style system from start to finish. This material is intended for those who want to understand the process of drawing vector elements, organizing collections, and maintaining a unified style. Serhii incorporated his experience working with different themes, from basic symbols to specialized packs. He explains step by step how to plan icons, choose line weights, work with proportions, and check consistency.
The course emphasizes practical aspects: how to create icons that work well together, how to organize files for convenient work, how to adapt elements to different backgrounds. Serhii shares examples from his practice, showing how he solves typical tasks in interface design. The materials are structured so users can gradually develop skills: from basic principles to working with large sets. The course helps understand how to create icons that fit mobile interfaces and maintain their quality at all stages.
Serhii continues working on new collections at Iconastra, focusing on details that make icons useful in real projects. He believes that good interface design starts with thoughtful small things, like perfectly aligned lines and harmonious shapes. His goal is to provide tools and knowledge that help designers create consistent visual elements. The course reflects his approach: clear, structured, and practice-oriented. He is glad to share his experience with those who work with icons daily.
